What is geocaching? The official definition: a real-world outdoor scavenger hunting game. Players try to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, using GPS-enabled devices and then share their experiences online.
Geocaching is an amazingly inexpensive way to spend the day. For $100 you can get a handheld GPS and have something to do every weekend forever, not to mention the cool places you’ll go…parks, abandoned buildings, cemeteries, arboretums, reservoirs, etc. For me, it is the perfect way to connect with my Boys.
Parents: Pull your kids away from the television…go Geocaching, make lasting memories. Get some fresh air.
